Empire Comedy Club - Terms of Use

1. Ticket Sales & Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to missed performances, late arrival, or removal from the venue.

In the event that a show is canceled, tickets may be refunded or transferred at our discretion. Lineups are subject to change without notice.

2. Ticket Validity & Resale

Tickets are valid only if purchased directly through Empire Comedy Club or its authorized sales channels. We do not accept third-party tickets.

Tickets may not be resold. Any tickets suspected to have been resold or obtained through unauthorized sources may be deemed invalid and denied entry without refund.

3. Admission & Age Requirements

Empire Comedy Club is a 21+ venue. Valid government-issued identification is required for entry shows.

We reserve the right to refuse admission to any individual.

4. Seating Policy

If you have not arrived within 30 minutes after showtime starts, your tickets may be canceled and your seats may be sold to the next customer. No refunds are given in that case.

5. Code of Conduct

Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward performers, staff, and other patrons.

Empire Comedy Club reserves the right to remove any guest for disruptive behavior without refund.

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Heckling or disrupting performances
• Harassment or abusive behavior
• Intoxication that interferes with the experience

6. Photography & Recording

The use of cameras, video recording devices, or audio recording devices during performances is strictly prohibited.

By entering the venue, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional and marketing purposes.

7. Food & Beverage Policy

Outside food and beverages are permitted. Any applicable food or drink minimums will be disclosed prior to or at the time of purchase.

8. Accessibility Statement

Empire Comedy Club is located on the second floor of a historic building and is not ADA accessible. We sincerely apologize for this limitation.

Guests with accessibility concerns are encouraged to contact us in advance at info@empirecomedyme.com so we can discuss possible accommodations where feasible.

9. Assumption of Risk & Liability

By attending an event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with being in a live entertainment venue, including but not limited to crowd-related risks and the presence of alcohol.

Empire Comedy Club shall not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained on the premises except where required by law.

10. Intellectual Property

All performances, material, and content presented at Empire Comedy Club are the intellectual property of the performers and may not be recorded, reproduced, or distributed without permission.

11. Website Use

If you use our website to purchase tickets or obtain information, you agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its operation.

12. Privacy

13. Force Majeure

Empire Comedy Club shall not be held liable for failure to perform any obligation under these Terms if such failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, weather conditions, natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, pandemics, or interruptions in utilities or transportation.

In such cases, we reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify events at our discretion.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine.
